Admission requirements for productronica 2021

The following requirements apply to exhibitors, service partners, service providers and stand construction contractors throughout the exhibition and during the set-up and dismantling:

In order to enter productronica 2021, visitors and media representatives will need to provide

  • digital proof that they have been fully vaccinated or
  • digital proof that they have recovered from a Covid-19 infection within the last 180 to 28 days prior to productronica 2021 or
  • digital proof of a (negative) rapid antigen test, a negative PCR test or a (negative) on-site rapid test from within the previous 24 hours


  • register their contact details (first and last names, address, telephone number or email address)
  • wear an FFP2 mask at all times.

In order to keep queues on the exhibition grounds to a minimum, participants can take advantage of the following:

  1. From October 2021, you can upload your digital vaccination passport via
  2. From October XX, 2021, you will also be able to upload digital proof of your recovery from a Covid-19 infection via
  3. Visitors arriving in Munich with a rapid test will have the option of uploading their test certificate 24 hours prior to productronica via Rapid test results can only be uploaded in the form of a QR code and must have been registered in an official app. The system supports the following apps:
    • EU: CovPass-App
    • Germany: Corona-Warn-App and Luca App

If at all possible, please ensure that you take a Corona test before you come to productronica 2021. You can take a test at one of the many centers near your hotel, upon arrival at Munich Airport, or at one of the test centers in downtown Munich:

Information for international visitors:

If you arrived in Germany with a negative PCR test, please remember that you will only be able to enter the exhibition grounds with a negative result from a test performed within the previous 24 hours.

Corona test center at the trade fair:

For your convenience, we also have a test center on the exhibition grounds. You can take a corona test at Messe Munich for a fee of EUR 20.00. However, it is possible that the test center will be quite busy, so please make allowances for waiting times when making appointments with customers at the trade fair center/stand. In order to take a test at the exhibition grounds, you will need to register in advance.

The test center is located at the ICM, next to the West Entrance. You can use the following link to register for your corona test from October 2021.
