Europe and Germany in particular stand for quality and innovation. To make sure it stays that way, recruiting and training sufficient numbers of young professionals in the electronics manufacturing sector is essential. Ongoing technological progress and the long-term risks associated with demographic change are driving demand for electronics professionals even higher.
Some 220 aspiring engineers from throughout Germany participated in Student Day at productronica 2015 to talk to potential employers early on and check out interesting training opportunities.
Besides a keynote address on “Career prospects in the electronics industry”, students had a chance to attend a networking lunch and talk to young engineers and HR representatives about their future careers.
Additional information about the program of events and sponsoring opportunities will be available here as of the summer of 2017.
